Individual stylized photoshooting for Kristina. Modern Pin-up Girl

Fashion, war & modern Pin-up Girl.

Fashion photoshooting. inspired by a modern Pin-up Girl. A unique model, impressing with its femininity and at the same time displaying bold masculine appearance.
The fashion stylist drew inspiration from the fashion figure of the World War II era — the pin-up girl. This is the same girl who winked at the soldiers from the shiny poster, saying: «No more war, let's make love!»

Fashion, war & media advertising.

I am proud of the result along with the best team of professionals who worked with me on the photoshooting. The series was published this month in a Parisian fashion magazine. It is especially interesting that the magazine decided to publish the photographs along with the fashion stylist’s story about the heroine’s inspiration and message to the world: real women are returning to big fashion.

«The inspiration for our character is rooted in the Second World War fashion which contributed to the popularization of the pin-up figure in this field. Considering the events which have been taking place in the world recently, the pin-up is back in fashion. Despite the distinct erotic message, it is often delivered as if by chance, expressed by mistake.

It has been known as a boost of confidence to women who have looked at these pictures. They realized: «I can be the same!» Artists at that time were not afraid to depict muffin tops, small and imperfectly shaped breasts, or the luscious thighs of beauties. Everything that girls have struggled with for the past decade, feeding on water and the Holy Spirit for months or lying under surgeons’ knives, has been presented as a virtue.
Our modern pin-up wishes to send an old and still relevant message directly from the poster — make love, not war.»
